| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Welsh Products Online is back Online.Long-term set back finally overcome - almost.15th. December 2005 Today Welsh Products Online (WPO) went back online after a serious setback last summer. Well, for the largest part anyway. WPO is maintained by proprietor Owen Jones using the Actinic system, but was unable to regain control over the site after a major hard disk failure. What about back-ups? I hear you ask. A good point, but it all occurred during a back-up. This corrupted the back up and it was only then that Mr. Jones discovered that his previous three back-ups were corrupt too. This was disastrous as Actinic can not recreate a site by downloading it from the internet, so every one of the 78 pages had to be rewritten. It was truly a mammoth task, but one which is now almost complete. (By the way, this a safety feature of Actinic, so that others cannot download your shop and alter it). The only remaining work to be done is to recreate the shop and check all the links. Mr. Jones said that he was very proud of how many people stuck with the site, even though he was unable to update it or add new products for over six months and he wishes to extend his thanks to them all.
