Stage One: It is helpful to use a browser capable of displaying more than one site at a time. There are several on the web, but my favourite is Firefox, which has the facility to open multiple sites and windows inside a single browser task. It also has a Smart Popup Filter - ie it blocks all the annoying popups automatically! So it is useful - get it here:

and then come back for stage two.

Stage Two: Now we'll register with a few free site-promotion schemes. There are several types and hundreds of each type. Some are a lot worse than others and some are even a lot better! Some even pay you to surf, but it's not usually much more than 10c per day, so that is not a major consideration. I use the five below, although you should use them one or two at a time, depending on the speed of your internet connection. I shall add more to the list as I find them (and feel they're worth recommending). Just click on the links and follow their instructions.

You should write down (or save) the auto surf addresses you are given on signing up and, once at the right page, add the site to a newly formed "Favourites' Folder", suitably entitled something like "Traffic Generators". Later you will be able to launch all the sites in this folder at one click (or individually, if you should so wish).
